The continuation to his mixtape “Blended” which dropped earlier this year, Bay Area native GQ releases his new mixtape “Blended 2.” After giving the mixtape one listen, I am convinced, this is one of the mixtapes that’s a necessity, and I completely understand all the buzz behind this artist. Making the transition from Basketball Star at University of North Carolina, to emcee on 9th Wonder’s label Jamla, GQ has bars for days.
This whole mixtape is just dope all around, dope collaborations with fellow bay area artists; B Younger, Ashley Di’Amante, and etc. Dope punch lines. Dope songs, especially, “2010 Summer Madness,” with the Barry White sample ( don’t remember the name of the song just remember my mom used to play that song OVER and OVER and OVER again and then have to flip the tape over to rewind and play all over again).
Download here. I’ll do a more in-depth review later for the front page, but make sure you do it NOW.
