If you’re in the Bay Area, Oakland in particular on Tuesday January 11, make sure you visit Yoshi’s to watch Kev Choice Ensemble perform in celebration of their new project The Power of Choice, with a live performance. Known for their unique blend of hip-hop, soul, jazz, funk, and classical just to name a few, this should be a great show.
“Kev Choice, sits at a Grand Piano, while reciting rhymes of motivation, inspiration, passion, and real life situations, surrounded by an Ensemble of some of the most talented musicians in The Bay Area. This most certainly be a POWER packed performance. The Ensemble, a POWERFUL force of it’s own with vocalist Viveca Hawkins, producer/keyboardist Antario Holems, seasoned jazz musicians Howard Wiley and Geechie Taylor, the sought after rhythm section of Hassan Hurd, Greggo Simmons and Marcus Phillips, in addition to producer Aagee and percossionist Moeshe Milon, this band of All-Stars is not to be missed.”
If you are interested in attending and enjoying GREAT music, and sushi and a shirley temple (my favorite just thought I’d share) visit yoshis.com for tickets.
