If you are living in the Bay Area, make sure you head over to New Parish, for the weekly Monday Soul series, spotlighting some of the dopest artists around the Bay Area.  Put on by Jareem, Mr. JE, Fusicology with music by DJ D Sharp and hosted by Streets is Talking Radio Host DNas, Monday Soul is the hottest ticket right now.  Monday Soul is a members only event ($20) and with the upcoming talent coming the rest of the month, it definitely makes sense to invest in a membership.

Next Monday, April 18th, the featured performers at Monday Soul will be R&B singers, London and Netta Brielle.  Both have been making a name for themselves around the Bay Area and beyond. Netta Brielle is a uniquely gifted and talented performer.  A true “total package entertainer”, she is a singer, songwriter, dancer and actress not just a pretty face.  Her soothing voice, electric performance and dominant stage presence constantly gains her new fans and catapults her towards success in the music industry.

The following Monday, April 25th, will be the birthday celebration for host DNAs, featuring performances from Jennifer Johns, IAmSu! and Beejus, and that should be a really dope show.  non-profit at Monday Soul is Youth Radio.  Youth Radio promotes young people’s intellectual, creative, and professional growth through education and access to media. Youth Radio’s media education, broadcast journalism, technical training and production activities provide unique opportunities in social, professional and leadership development for youth, ages 14-24. We see Youth Radio’s work as cultivating the natural resilience and strength of young people. By connecting youth with their communities through media literacy and professional development, they become active partners in civic engagement.
