I’ve been a Muhsinah fan for a while now–ever since I saw her on tour with my husband Common, then with her 2008 release Oscillations: Sine, and it’s follow up The Oscillations: Triangle, and then with her affiliation with Foreign Exchange in the form of the Grammy nominated “DayKeeper” and a personal favorite “Something to Behold.” Muhsinah’s voice is beautiful almost like a musical instrument or something and finally, she’s coming out with new music.
Here’s a preview for you to entice you to purchase Muhsinah’s EP Gone and here’s what she had to say about the project, “After months of living, writing, and recording, I’ve just bounced a master of my new musical effort. I’m so glad to share my experiences with you all. This EP, which I call “Gone”, speaks from a place of emotional vulnerability. I’m happy to know that it’s helped me through my own personal changes and can help those of you dealing with a troubling time. Either way. It’s coming really soon. Thanks for sticking with me”.
Make sure you download Muhsinah”s EP Gone in the above music player.
