Yes, I was the dork who told Zo! “Zo never seizes to amaze me” and all my friends said isn’t it cease.. it actually became a conversation via Twitter. I’m smart, but never claimed to be a great speller despite winning a lot of spelling bee championships when I was younger. I digress, the point of this whole post was to say– if you have no yet download ZO!’s latest free installment Just Visiting Three, which was released Monday/Tuesday (different timezones) you are completely missing out.
As always, Zo! constantly delivers a project that touches on so many time periods musically, and is a classic in it’s own right. This project has so many highlights with collaborations from Phonte, Sye Smith, Eric Roberson, Anthony David, Yahzarah and etc. In a personal opinion, opening the album with the New York classic “De Vu (Uptown Baby)” from Peter Gunz & Lord Tariq, and turning it into what it became– dope.
Nonetheless, if you have yet to download this project, you better do it right now here. I will do a full fledged review of this as soon as my new site launches. Also, if you live in the Bay Area, Zo! and Foreign Exchange will be coming to a city near us July 26th at New Parish, and I will be giving away a free pair of tickets all you have to do is like my sites fanbase here.
