I’ve told this story on this blog before, but I love Muhsinah.  I remember the day I fell in love with her.  I went to the Invincible Summer tour or whatever it was called with Common & N.E.R.D (two of my loves on one day).  Common was premiering new music– from what was to be Universal Mind Control.  In his band, there was this pretty lady, Muhsinah singing flawlessly.

A few months later, one of my favorite groups/dope collectives The Foreign Exchange released their project, Leave it All Behind, and she was singing on a few tracks– “Daykeeper,” “House of Cards,” and “Something To Behold.”  Then, she was on Oddisee’s “That Day,” and she released Oscillations; Triangle, so yes, you can tell I love this girl even to the point that I am in her fan page on Facebook page hoping that she comes here.  Plus, she’s beautiful and her voice sounds like this instrument within itself.

Uh, that rant seemed like a stalker, but I really don’t mean it as a stalker– just a pretty big fan.

With that being said, this morning checking out blogs, I came across a post for new music from Muhsinah on PB and that’s what I am writing about today. Here is a new track from Ms. Muhsinah which comes as a collaboration with Tokyo based trio Super Smoky Soul, in the form of “More.”  This song is off of the groups new EP which was released yesterday.  It’s a pretty dope project and you can download that here.
