On my to-do list for this weekend is to finish my review of Oakland transplant by way of Detroit Quelle Chris’s new album Shotgun & Sleek Rifle.  This project, is, let me just say my favorite word– dope.  I think something has to be in whatever they eat in Detroit because all the music coming out of the region is always top notch and this definitely follows suit.  I think this project, as well as Black Milk & Danny Brown’s Black & Brown, have been some of my favorite projects this year– hence all Detroit.  Any who, here is a new track from the project which is out now, in the form of “Slaves” featuring emcee Roc Marciano and produced by House Shoes.  Please, please, get this project on Itunes here.  You can quote me now, on citas (don’t know why I wanted to say citas perhaps, dramatic relief) this is a project you’re going to love– get it here.
