The last time I got the chance to speak with Apollo Brown (read here), which was right after his collaborative effort, Daily Bread came out with emcee Hassaan Mackey. During that interview, he mentioned that he would be doing something pretty epic in the near future with a legend, and here’s what he was talking about.
On Saturday, DJ Premier debuted the single Saturday on his Sirius Satellite Radio show, HeadQCourterz. This track is the first track from the two’s upcoming release Trophies, which drops May 1st (Gatefold Double Vinyl, Deluxe CD & Digitally) and it’s SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO dope. In other Apollo news, if you’re going to be at South By Southwest this year in Austin, Apollo will be performing at The Whutupdoe showcase which is sponsored by HipHopIsCoolAgain, and IndieOn65.
