Definitely a late post, but if you know me you know the marriage of Black Spade and Coultrain in the form of Hawthorne Headhunters, is one of my favorite marriages ever (not sure why I continued to go with that marriage reference). Their album, The Myriad of Now, is one of my favorite projects of the year — nice production, nice lyrics and an overall cool vibe. From the release, the group is releasing their new visuals in the form of “My Sweetheart The Drunk.” I really like the visuals how they have an actual story line, as well as the live performance component as well.
I am still extremely annoyed that I missed them while they were here in San Francisco. But anyway, make sure you get the album here, you will not be disappointed I promise.
