New York based emcee, Melo-X is constantly creating something dope.  Whether it’s his mixtapes, Mustafa’s Renaissance, Mustafa the GodKing: Rise of the Merch Album, Blacksummers’night, just to name a few or this here “Live Your Life (Melo-X Motherland God Mix)” by Yuna. 

The Romantic Movement emcee, completely switches the Pharrell produced song up and makes it into a funky track.  The beat change towards the end of the song is super dope – I definitely was dancing extra hard to that at my desk at work.

Melo-X is currently on the brink of releasing his collaborative with singer Jesse Boykins III Zulu Guru via Ninja Tune Label.  Definitely can’t wait to finally hear that project.  You can pre-order the project here.
