A few days ago, I got put onto the new collaborative EP from Binki Shapiro and Adam Green in the form of Fall EP. I admit, I looked at the project because I liked the simplistic cover — but the EP is great. The project is serving as an appetizer for their forth-coming self-titled duets project that are coming in the near future which will be out January 28th via Decca/Rounder.
“Collage” is lovely. The mellowness of the intro, to the buildup in the middle. Love their voices and the lyrics. This is the project that Pete Yorn & Scarlett Johansson tried to create with Breakup, but didn’t end up creating — I love that project too but yeah.
