Timbaland Is Sitting On Unreleased Aaliyah Music, Promises “Sneak Peek”

In the late 1990’s, Aaliyah and Timbaland had a good thing going, with his beats, and her vocals.  With hits like “If Your Girl Only Knew,” “Are You That Somebody,” and “Try Again,” they had that perfect blend of raw Hip Hop with the R & B flavor that eventually started a movement.  Soon thereafter, Hip Hop beats featuring female singers became very popular on the airwaves.
Aaliyah’s tragic death in 2001 saw the end of the music released by these two.Raw Entertainment Magazine Aaliyah-Timbaland

Or was it?

Timbaland often gets asked if he still has any unreleased material from late R&B singer Aaliyah.

“Well the answer is YES!!!!!!!!” the famed producer and rapper confirmed on Instagram Saturday, Aug. 8. He added that a “sneak peak” of new music is on the way. His post included a photo of Aaliyah’s face surrounded by clouds.
I love the work that Timbaland & Justin Timberlake put out there, but I would love to het a hold of some of those unreleased tracks featuring Aaliyah’s voice once again.  I know this will never happen, but what would a collaboration between Timbaland, Justin Timberlake and Aaliyah sound like?
I guess I can always dream, right?
